Welcome to the 25th FPS Exhibition and to the opportunity to maximise your tanker payload.

In partnership with DAF Trucks and Heil Trailers, Suckling Transport is exhibiting a 44-tonne articulated tanker vehicle on stands 107/108.

This vehicle is, we believe, the first such vehicle with the capability to carry 43,000 litres of petrol.

The DAF CF85.430 FTP tractor unit weighs in at just over 7,000 kgs and the new Heil Evolution tank trailer is just over 5,000 kgs including hoses and fittings, giving a payload of nearly 32,000 kgs - the best in Europe.

Using a specific gravity (provided by ConocoPhillips) of 1.3568, this means we can carry 43,000 litres. The fully petroleum-regulated vehicle retains the high residual value benefits of a sleeper cab
tractor unit, and incorporates many special features, including: AS-tronic gearbox, handbrake/door open audible alarm, VSC and anti-rollover system.

Sucking Transport is very pleased to support the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers today and, to participate in the 25th Anniversary FPS Exhibition.

Apart from our own stand, we would encourage visitors to also visit that of our group company Purfleet Commercials Limited, and to view our TankShare vehicle being exhibited by DAF Trucks and Heil Trailers.

ConocoPhillips utilise Suckling Transport and its TankShare service to provide a delivery service from Coryton, Purfleet, West London, Westerleigh and Grangemouth Terminals. This entails managing safety and supplying this service at a competitive price.

The Company's TankShare service specifically supplements our core resource requirements when volumes increase. This flexibility meets the peaks and troughs of our customers' businesses, within the Customer Service targets we set.

British Benzol have utilised the services of Suckling Transport's TankShare service during 2004 and continue to use it during 2005.

Suckling Transport are not the main source of bulk deliveries for British Benzol but provide a back up and contingency service to the Company to help meet peaks of demand. The arrangements between the two companies have been effective and flexible.

The process is controlled through our Aylesbury Office with a single point of contact with Suckling Transport at West Thurrock who then ensure that the deliveries required are facilitated.

British Benzol have had no complaints about the Suckling Transport services and have found the relationship to be very beneficial. We will continue to use this service to help deal with our peaks of demand as the business moves forward.

"Suckling Transport are hoping to have a finalist for the FPS-OAMPS Driver of the Year Awards at the Annual Dinner on 21st April. If Jared King is short-listed amongst the finalists, he will be the second Suckling driver to do so in 3 years. Tony Coulson finished runner-up in the competition in 2002.

Jared works on the company's contract with ConocoPhillips at Grangemouth.

Since joining Suckling Transport in 2001, Jared has had a 100% attendance record; he has never been involved in an accident, crossover or spillage and has an unblemished tachograph record.

Customers of ConocoPhillips have endorsed his nomination for the FPS Driver of the Year award. Testimonials from Border Cars (Dumfries) Limited and Parks of Hamilton praise Jared's skills.
